She has been looking forward to this for months! We made reservations at the AG Bistro for 4pm & had plans of spending the day letting her have a field day inside the store with her doll Abby, and of course letting Abby get a make-over. Her appointment was at 6:00.
I never knew how incredibly crazy - yet awesome - this store was going to be!
The night before we made reservations at the Westin - which is attached to the Galleria. If you know me, you are probably thinking - she waited until the day before to make reservations? Yep! The only thing that mattered was ACP having fun at the AG store & that was all!
Addie's daddy found an amazing hotel that had an AG package! REALLY?!?! So, we jumped on it & kept it a surprise for ACP!
To say that this kiddo was beyond excited was an understatement! She was totally beside herself. Don & I were so excited to see her so excited!!
We hit the road for Dallas Saturday morning. On the way we sang Frozen countless times & she watched the movie - along with Robots to pass the time. Don found an old country station on the radio once we got into Texas - you know, with all the old country hits - I was in heaven. Of course, I pretended like I was Reba McEntire & belted those songs out to Don. I am sure that he was thrilled.
We got to the mall & as soon as ACP saw the AG store - the shreek from the backseat was deafening. She was so excited......and so were Don and I!!!!
She had an absolute blast. She was in such a hurry to see everything. I kept telling her that we got to stay here as long as she wanted. There was just so much to see! :)
She had so much fun looking at all of the displays. Each time we got to a new section, she would make some cute little comment like, "Can you believe it mom?" "This is the best day EVER!"
After she picked out some outfits, for Abby & her - we had some time to kill before our reservations at the Bistro.
We hit up the Galleria - which I had never been to before. We shopped, stopped for ice cream, and watched the ice skaters! Addie was in total awe!
At 4pm, we went back to the AG store for our dinner reservations. Addie was beyond excited. They really do an amazing job making these little girls feel so special.
In that moment, I couldn't help but think how amazingly blessed I am to have this little girl, to watch her be so happy. I could only imagine how God must feel watching us from heaven.
The place settings were adorable. "So fancy smancy" according to ACP!
After dinner, we headed to our hotel to get checked in! I wish I could have seen ACP's face when she saw what was set up for her in the hotel, but listening to the screams was enough!!
The hotel had an AG doll bed, pillow, blanket, special little note for Addie complete with cupcakes & milk! The best day EVER - had became even better!!!
Abby had an appointment to get her make-over at 6pm. So back to the AG store for the third time we went. Addie picked out her hairstyle & loved watching her get all "dolled" up! The stylist was super nice & even let ACP come around behind the counter. She thought that was amazing!!!
When we got back to the hotel, she played & played on the little window seat. She couldn't believe how awesome Texas was!
The next morning we got ready to hit up some stores & head home! Of course, Addie & Abby had to wear their matching outfits!! I'm pretty sure she is the cutest! :)
After an afternoon of shopping & stopping at the "MUST" eat In & Out Burger, this little AG was totally worn out!
We had a total blast! Don & I enjoyed every single second of watching this little kiddo be so happy!
My friend Ashley sent me this text. It totally sums up our lives. I wouldn't trade it for anything in the whole world!
I am one lucky girl to have a husband who adores us. He was a trooper!
XOXO,
Jessica
So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
