I am beyond excited about this new bible study! Our church is hosting a "Chick Night" in April with Jennie Allen as the speaker! My friend Madaline insisted we read this book & do the online bible study together before this amazing night in April! I am really glad I downloaded the book - it was just $2.99 on my ipad!
I have started reading it & it has been really good read so far! I know I am restless in my life. What about you? We have so much on our to-do list, there is always a list a mile long, but we still always feel restless. Like the feeling that our life holds more for us....How can we make more out of what we have?
My favorite quote so far is, "I think in twenty years, we will regret more of the things we didn't do than things we did imperfectly." Amazing right? Jennie really makes you think! I know that hit me like a ton a bricks & helped me to realize some changes I need to make in my own life & relationship with God.
I can't wait to finish this book & watch the online study tonight at 8:30pm! You should totally join in and watch - even if you haven't read the book yet - it's sure to be an awesome time!

Jennie Allen is coming to The Church at Rock Creek in April. This is the first time that I am going to get to attend a Chick Night.....I am pretty excited about what I will hear & learn. If you are interested in details about it....check them out here.
We had some unexpected winter weather this weekend in Arkansas! Arkansas weather is incredibly crazy. We were in the 60's on Saturday & inches worth of sleet & a dusting of snow on top started Sunday night. This weather got us TWO whole days out of school! I am not going to lie...I may actually enjoy these days....but I am sure that I will be not very happy the longer it takes for summer break! I have gotten things accomplished & worked on grading papers...since I am always behind on that.
Addie played & played & played! That sweet girl loves her baby dolls & her new American Girl Doll. She pretends they are her sisters & of course - we've gotta play along too! Baby had a recent name change from Michelle Tanner...to Kylie. I am not sure where that came from...but I am kinda gonna miss that Michelle Tanner! It cracked me up every time she called her name.
We didn't play outside today. It was really Freezing! However, we did go outside for a bit. It was slick. I was a nervous wreck that she was going to fall & she did! It was in the grass - she was safe & not harmed - but she was pretty mad that I laughed! It was probably the cutest thing ever.
We have been lazy all day....which has been nice! March is about to totally kick our booties with our busy schedule. My favorite quote of the night was from Don. I totally cracked up. He said, "Well, I guess I will get out of my daytime pajamas & get into my night time ones."
